India’s victory was built on a solid batting performance from Suryakumar Yadav (80 off 42 balls) and Ishan Kishan (58 off 39 balls), who topped the Indian batting. Their Partnership of 112runs in 60balls supported India to achieve record breaking win over Australia.
The match was a closely contested affair, with both teams showing good fighting spirit. India’s victory was a morale-booster for the team, which was coming off a defeat in the Cricket World Cup 2023 final against Australia.
